Second Day
For the second day I looked for my SD card which had my most recent shoots on it. As I have recently moved I haven't been able to find it, so I downloaded a copy of one image from an email that I sent for a Chromaluxe Print (which I won in a competition). I went to meet my study skills support Louise and she helped me finish the worksheet and prepare for the Research Brief. After the meeting I went to get the images printed from the Print Lab but I shouldn't have been able to get them printed as it was closed (which I didn't know as the sign wasn't there) but they ultimately printed them for me after returning to get something. I had been to the Freshers Fair and had gotten some free pint vouchers for the roundabout and I gave them one.
I looked at what I needed to do for the submission and wrote out the synopsis for each image that I was contemplating for submission. I hadn't decided which one yet.
Moment with nature
If you have an extraordinary wildlife or nature photography story you’d like to share, let us know. For this piece there is a lot of freedom with what to cover and the theme and tone change each issue. It can be opinionesque, humourous, an insightful look at life as a wildlife or nature photographer, or an unusual and compelling story behind the taking of an image – we’re open to ideas so long as it’s something pertinent and of interest to the general wildlife or nature photographer. Write us a short synopsis (no more than 60 words) explaining what you’d cover in the article, plus up to 5 accompanying landscape format images. We will send you a full brief if selected.
Publication fee we pay: £100 for one page, including a picture over half a page.
